King George VI Accepted In Canada. Press Association—-Copyright. Received 1.40 p.m. Ottawa, January 20. The Succession Act was adopted without a division. A member’s demand for the correspondence concerning the abdication of the ex-King was withdrawn after the Ptime Minister refused to produce it.
