End Of Week Of Intense Activity. Press Association—Copyright. Auckland, January 19. After more than a week of intense activity, during which well over 300 papers have been read, the biennial meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science was brought to a close to-day. The business of the congress concluded during the morning, when the final papers were read and section, recommendations were considered at a general counci l meeting. DlegateS’ were guests of the mayor and mayones, Mr and Mrs Ernest Davis, at a garden party in the grounds of Government House in the afternoon.
