Freezing Works Now Operating at Capacity.

Slaughtering operations were conducted at full pressure at the Westfield and Southdown freezing wortfs to-day, the men settling down in the morning to a full day’s work. The handling of lambs for export was in full swing for the first time since the resumption of work, and both ’chains’ were operated at their capacity output at both Westfield and Southdown.
A conference to consider the points of difference between the freezing companies and their employees has been called by the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, for Thursday morning. r jVf
He said to-day that both the companies and the men in the whole ot the freezing industry would be represented in the discussions. The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, would represent the Government and delegates would be present from North Auckland and South Auckland dairy companies, whose produce had been held up in the recent dispute.
