Canadian Minister En Route
To Australia
Press Association—Copyright. Auckland, Last Night
The revision of the Australian trade agreement with Canada is the chief object of a special trade mission undertaken by the Canadian
Minister of Trade and Commerce, the Hon. W. D. Euler, who arrived from Vancouver by the Aorangi. "My whole purpose is to make agreements that will be mutually satisfactory to both countries, for that is the only basis on which business can be conducted," said Mr Euler. It has been suggested that Mr Euler would discuss informally the New Zealand trade agreemnt with Canada, which expires in September, but he s*ated he did not intend to do so unless the subject was raised by the New Zealand Government.
