Mrs. Atkinson, senr., left by the express this morning for Wellington. Mr. C. Lamplough and his son William were by the express this morning. for Wellington. Mr C. (Jampbrll, Stratford County Clerk, has resumed his duties after a holiday in the South Island. Rev. Fathers Kennedy and Kavanagh are attending the annual Retreat of the Catholic ckrgy at Wellington.. Messrs F. Cook, T. Bulman and W. Lonsdale, members of the rink skipped by Mr A. Dickinson at the New Zealand championships at Wellington, arrived at Stratford by the train o-n Friday night. Mr Dickinson arrived at about the same time by car.
