FAMOUS PIANIST.
Mr. Harold Samuel Dies In London.

The death is reported of the prominent pianist, Mr. Hahold Samuel, at the age of 57. Mr. Samuel made his debut as a pianist at St. James’s Hall in 1894, and has since appeared at all the leading concert halls and with leading orchestras throughout ths British Isles. He associated himself largely with the performance of Bach’s pianoforte works and oned gave six separate weeks of recitals of his music in London, an unprecedented effort. He has made lour? both in U.S.A, and on the Continent, and has composed many numbers including a comic opera, short operettas, incidental music for plays, many songs and instrumental works.
