HITLER WANTS A CONFERENCE WITH HER
DISCUSS FINANCIAL, POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC SITUATION. FRANCE WANTS POLITICAL GUARANTEE BEFORE AGREEING TO CONFERENCE. (Press Association—Copyright.) Received 11.30 a.m. Paris, January 12. M. Poncet, reporting on his Berlin conversations to M. Delbos, Foreign Minister, said that Herr Hitler proposed that France and Germany should discuss the financial, political and economic situation, and Herr Schacht, German Finance Minister, should be invited to Paris for that purpose. France, it is reported, wants seme political guarantee such as an Arms Limitation Pact before agreeding to such a conference.
It is reported from Berlin that Herr Schacht is anxious to discuss the question of colonies with France, who, it is understood, is now willing to make certain concessions.
