Rickshaw Boy Arrested On Serious Charge.

While washing a cushion cover today a rickshaw boy was arrested on a charge concerning the murder of Miss Palema Werner, the 17-ycar-old daughter of the- former consul for Foochow. He told the police that the cover was soiled by a drunken foreigner.

Doctors who made a post-mortem examination of the body of Miss

Werner suggest that she was murdered indoors and that her body was subsequently dumped in a ditch.
