IMPERIAL PROBLEMS.

Subjects For Conference Agenda.

A preliminary discussion on matters the New Zealand Government desires to have discussed at the Imperial Conference to be held in London after tbe Coronation, took place at a meeting of Cabinet yesterday. With the exception of the Minister of Education, Hon. P. Fraser, and Minister of Public Works, Hon. R. Semple, who are in the South Island on questions connected with their departments, there was a full attendance of Minls-

ters. The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, said that there were a number of proposals which the New Zealand Government desired to have discussed by the conference. The same applied to the other Dominions. However, there had only been a preliminary talk, and further discussions would have to be held before any finality was reached.

An accumulation of departmental matters requiring Cabinet decision was also dealt with by the Ministry at its meeting yesterday.
