Scott, Postmaster at Featherstone, has been appointed to Stratford to succeed Mr D. McCready . and will take up his duties in about three weeks’ time. Mr C. H. Court, who has beQn electrician at Union Foundries, Stratford, for the past eighteen months, is leaving shortly to take up a position with a firm of consulting and electrical engineers at Oamaru. Mr and Mrs H. Jones, of Canada, who have been staying with Mr T. R. Anderson, of Mahoe, left yesterday by car to continue a holiday tour of the Dominion. Mr B. B. Armstrong, Otahuhu, and the Misses Jean and Dawn Armstrong, are the guests of Miss M. A. Squire, Miranda Street. Miss Mardie Armstrong is the guest of Mrs G. A. Carter. Mr and Mrs C. H. Rogers and Mr and Mrs Frank Grady left for Wellington yesterday after spending the holidays with Mr C. 11. Rogers, Regan Street.
