H.M.S. Dunedin’s Return To England. Press Association —Copyright. Auckland, Last ( night. Although it was originally* announced that Captain I. G. Glennie was to take command of H.M.S. Dunedin when Rear-Admiral the Hon. E. R. Drummond ransferred his flag to the new cruiser Achilles, no such changg has taken place, instead, Commanded Willett, who was tile commodore’s chief executive officer in 11.’M.-S. Dunedin, has assumed command of the old flag-ship, and wild take her to England when she leaver Auckland on February 16.
When H.M.S. Achilles arrived at Auckland on September 6 it was officially stated that Captain Glennie, who brought her out from England, would take command of the Dunedin, after the transfer of the commodore’s flag and that Commander WJdletk would transfer the Achilles as the admiral’s chief executive officer. This is the first time the commodore of the New Zealand Station has had a captain as his executive officer.
