The Royal couple slipped out ot the palace gates at 5.30 p.m. unno. ticed by the waiting thousands. It is understood they have gone to Queen Wilmelminia’s palace at Hetloo whence they will proceed to Igla, the famous winter sports centre in the Tyrol. Finally they will tour England and Scotland.

Holland is pleased at Prince Bernhard’s express wish to return to his work at the Amsterdam office of a trading company after his honeymoon.

A Berlin message states that late editions of the newspapers published a uniform official account of the wdddlng. The whole treatment of the ceremony after the recent controversy might be described os correct but not cordial.

A Royal decree confers the title of Prince of the Netherlands on Prince Bernard, who is also appointed a Councillor of the State. Princess Juliana assumes the title of Princess Llppe-Biesterfeld, In addition to her other titles. The Prime Minister, Dr. Van Zeeland, and other dignitaries will receive special honours.

The Queen presented the couple with the Royal Palace of Soestdijk. Exactly at the same moment as Princess Juliana was married the Wedding of her namesake triend. Miss Juliana Vandermeer, was aoleimnised near Leiden. Miss Vandermeer was born on the same day and at ths same hour as Princess Jullnana and •the two girls were united in strong affection.
