Queensland Visit.

According to the latest information received about the team of social bowlers from Queensland which proposes to visit New Zealand, already nineteen players and four accompanying ladies have made initial payments of their transport expenses, which indicates that the tour will actually be undertaken. The party is due to arrive in Wellington about midday on Thursday, January 21, from Palmerston North. If the tourists do not wish to play bowls on January 22 (Anniversary Day) other arrangements for their entertainment are contemplated. On Saturday afternoon, the 23rd, the team will be the guests of the Wellington Bowling Club, and they will leave for Lyttelton the same evening.
