The diplomatic correspondent ot the Manchester Guardian sa-y« that the Germans are thoroughly dissatisfied wih Franco,jind with the rebel officers, because they have beep unable to stop the Spanish crewa..damaging German tanks, few ot which Are able to go into action. This demage is believed to be frequently .dye to deliberate sabotage by loyalist
sympathisers. The Guardian’s Paris correspondent says that official circles have delailed information that General Franco, assisted by Germans, is turning Ceuta into another Gibraltar Armed with Bin. guns in violation ot the Treaty of Algeciras.
