RACES IN PATEA. Club To Hold Afternoon At Nelson Dam No bath being available the Stratford Amateur Swimming Club will be holding a club afternoon at Nelson dam on Saturday next. Intermediate and junior swimmers will be handicapped on the mark. Handicaps for the senior events are: Men’s 50 yards.—A. Pettigrew Isec, S. Wickham 2sec, R. Eagaar isec, N. Turnbull 2sec, J. Ryan 3sec, John Ryan 2sec, A. Robson scr, A. Valairet 4sec, J. Davis 4sec. Ladies’ 50 yards.—C. Wickham 4 sec, L. Wickham scr, C. Whittlestone 2sec, R. Black Isec, D. Pettigrew 3sec.
