New York Scientist Coming For Research. Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, Last Night. In an interview to-day the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, referred to the. coming visit of Dr. G. J. Hucker to New Zealand. Dr. Hucker is bacteriologist and chief research officer at the Nefw York Agricultural Experiment Station of Geneva, New York. He has offered to spend part of his sabbatical leave year in New Zealand in order to study and report on mastitis in dairy cows under New Zealand conditions and generally to confer with research officers engaged in this work in the Dominion. This offer has been accepted, a contribution towards his expenses being shared by the Dairy Board and the Government.
