To-day’s Forecast. HEAVY RAIN PROBABLE. Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, To-day. An extensive and rather deep cyclonic depression is moving from the north-west towards I|he Cook Strait area. Pressure is low over the South Tasman Sea. The forecast is for strong northerly winds of gale force in places, changing to south-easter Hies in about 20 hours; weather dull and misty, with heavy rain ,and somp flooding probable; seas rough.
