ADELAIDE AIR RACE
Final Stage Was Completed Yesterday. Press Association —Copyright. Adelaide, Dec. IS. The Victorian pilot C. D. Pratt, who conducts a flying school at Geelong, to-day won the handicap section of the Centenary Air Race from Brisbane to Adelaide. The fiqal st?.ge from Melbourne to Adelaide was completed to-day unuer bad conditions, fog and mist causing several conn, ftitors to ma-.ce forced landings en route. The speed section was won by a Queenslander, J. W. Oo|lins|. The latter, off scratch, flew a Percival Vega Gull machine, while Pratt flew a Klemm Eagle, the property of a New Smith Wales grazier. A Victorian, A. L X.nsett, finished second in the handicap section with a Porterfield machine while a Queenslander, P. Moody, flying a St inton Reliant was runner-up in the speed event. C.. D. Pratt was third.
