Wellington Shows Increase November. Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, Dec. 16. The shipping and cargo returns for the port of Wellington for November showed a further increase as compared with the same month last year, stated the chairman, Mr. D. J. McGowan, at a'meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board last night. The net tonnage of shipping arrivals was 330,113 tons, compared with 294,623 tons, an increase of 35,490 tons. The cargo . handled improved by 11,864 tons, the figures being 160,232 tons, compared with 148,368 tons in November last year. The principal increases were in imports from British and foreign ports, which were 11,318 tons. Coastal and Australian imports showed an increase of 3200 tons. The . number of bales of wool shipped were about the same and oils in bulk were a little down.
