Informal Evening Held In Hall. An informal Scout and Cub social evening was held in the Coronation t . .Hall at Toko on Friday. Dancing, games and Scout ami Cub items provided entei’iiaiuiuent for young and old. Assistant-Scoutmaster 11. Goldup won a. competition for a camp stool. Miss F. Rowe, on behalf of tier parents, presented the Rowe Cup, complied for to the Grey Duck patrol. Mr Capon presented a medal l\>r competition among the Cub sixes, the winners on this occasion being Hie Grey's. Mrs M. Chainey and Mi Von Sturmer contributed the music. A small bul representative gathering of Scouts. Cubs, school children ami the public met outside tire Coronation Hall. Toko, on Monday io honour tlie new King. Assistant Scout Commissioner M- Urquhart briefly addressed the gathering and read the proclamation. Mr A. S. Harper, headmaster, also spoke. Dearer Butter.
