A manifesto signed by the Archbishop of York, the Bishop of Carlisle, the Dean of Rochester, Professor Raven, Dr. Scott-Lidgett, Maude Roy’det, Margaret Bondfield, M.P., and others expresses the opinion that the sole solution of contemporary difficulties is the application, even at the eleventh hour, of the principles of Christianity to domestic, internal and political problems. The signatories welcome the cooperation of everyone, whether a Church member or not.
