RAILWAY CROSSING
NOT INCONVENIENT Stratford Chamber Of Commerce View. “ Exception was taken to criticism of the conduct of the Fenton Street Railway crossing appearing in Press correspondence, and appreciation of the control exercised by the stationmaster, Mr R. Bowie, was expressed ’by Mr J. C. Allen, at the meeting of the Stratford Chamber of Commerce last night. He had frequently watched the crossing, said Mr Alien. He thought that the tfiahlm of tlie chamber were due to the stationmaster for the way in which the traffic was handled. Even at the busiest time, it was very' rarely that anyone .was kept waiting more than two or three minutes. Mr F. T.
