Police And Bandits Clash In Palestine.

Received 1 p.m. To-day. Jerusalem, Dec. 8. Rounding a curve on the main Jemin-Nallus highway, a British Palestine police patrol car surprised a' gang of bandits robbing six cars. The bandits fired and the police replied with a machine-gun. Then followed an all-night running battle. ' Strong forces are still searching in the hills, and it is believed that the bandits are hiding in caves.
