WELLINGTON PRICES. MARKET STILL STRONG Bidding Less Excited But K Generally Steady. % Press Association —Copy'right. Wellington, To-day. Buyers were on the bench in full strength at to-day’s Wellington wool sale, with Bradford, the Continent, the United States, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand well represented. Bidding was steady and not quite so excited as at some of the other sales, but there were practically no passings. Prices, on a parity with those at Napier, showed the market to be strong, especially for average crossbred. Typical prices early in the sale were: Crossbred 13Jd to 14Jd, medium crossbred 14d to 16d, fine crossbred 15§d to 17Jd, super crossbred 18d to 22d; halfbred 17d to 22d; Southdown 20ad to 233 d; Corriedale 17Ad to 20d; Lincoln 15id to 16id; Romney 14d to 16d; lambs’ lOd to 15Jd; bellies aild pieces lOd to Hid to 12Jd; necks to 16jd.
