The market was very [ firm at the closing rates of the last I series for all descriptions, but aver- i age and inferior sorts 'Were irregular i and prices for them were fully 5 per ’ cent. lower. Greasy merino made the , season’s record of 31Jd. A catalogue i of 13,513 bales was offered and | 10,654 bales were sold. A further | 1222 bales were sold privately. !
