STRATFORD POST OFFICE.
Arrangements for Christmas and New Year. Following are Christmas and New Year arrangements at the Stratford Post Office.—— Thursday, 24th December, 1936, and Thursday, 31st December, 1936: There, will be a delivery over the counter between th hours of 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. of correspondence (registered as well as ordinary) usually' delivered by postmen. Christmas Day: The Post Office will be closed in all branches. The telephone exchange will be open continuously. Boxing Day and New Year’s Day: The street letter receiving boxes will be cleared at 7 a.m. Mails close at 8 a.m., and will be despatched to principal post offices served by rail. No mails will be despatched to post l offices on the Stratford-Main Trunk I routq. Correspondence wilj not be I sorted into private boxes. The post! office will be closed in all branches. ' The telegraph office will be open j from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and from p.m. to 8 p.m. The telephone ex-[ change will be open continuously.
