FRANCE WITH BRITAIN
AGAINST AGGRESSOR. .Statement By French Foreign Minister, Press Association —Copyright. Received Noon. Paris, December 4. An unequivocal declaration that the entire military strength of France stands solidly behind Britain, was made by M. Delbos In a. packed Chamber of Deputies. “I want to declare,” he said, “that all the forces of France —land, sea and air—would spontaneously and immediately be utilised in the defence of Britain against any unprovoked aggressor. 1 will say the same regarding Belgium, although I do not forget their rather different conception of a future Locarno Treaty. As far as a. new ‘Locarno’ is concerned, Mr. Eden and myself are only asking that Germany should come in this network of guarantees on an equal footing. In the meantime, the greatest token for our own security and for general security, is the reality of an efficacious Franco-British friendship.
