ARCHITECT’S PRAISE Mr. S. G. Chaplin Arrives By ’Plane. Travelling by aeroplane from Napier to Hawera, Mr S. G. Chaplin, the Hastings architect who has made the plans for the municipal swimming bath to be built at Stratford, visited Stratford yesterday. Mr Chaplin arrived at Stratford shortly before 10 a.m. aud, accompanied by - the Mayor, Mr J. McMillan, and several of the councillors, he inspected .the bath site in Page Street, just off Miranda Street, He expressed lyiniself as very pleased with the site, which he regarded as particularly well 'chosen for the purpose. He considered 'that the surrounding plantation of tre|-s would make the bath one of the most pleasantly situated in New Zealand.
