Thirty-nine Germans have been deprived of citizenship because “their attitude conflicts with the duty and loyalty of the Reich towards the people. All their property in Germany has been confiscated. The list includes Thomas Mann (Nobel Prize winner in 1929), his wife and four children; the former leader of the Saar Separatists, Max Braun; and the Socialist writer and leader, Wilhelm Sollmann.
