The Cape Argus says: “The King is entitled to his direct private life as he pleases, but there are certain things he cannot do and remain King One is io marry a person of whom his subjects, profoundly and Tightly disapprove. If he persists, the Empire will respect his motives ami bow to his decision, but in that case there will be no Coronation.”
