India:

Press Association—Copyright. Received 11 a.m. To-day. Calcutta, Dec. 3. The news of Hie crisis over The King’s suggested marriage has been received with 'the greatest consternation throughout India. The Times of India says; “Public opinion is behind the Government. There will be widespread sympathy with the King’s dilemma but. there is no doubt about 'the decision the subjects would wish the King to take, if the Crown’s lustre is to remain undimmed. It must be the high path of duty set by King George.”
