SOME ANOMALIES. ■ Action By Union Meeting At Stratford. The variation of the rulings on the wiring regulations given by inspectors and supply authorities in different parts of Taranaki was discussed at the annual meeting of the Taranaki Electrical Workers’ Union at Stratford last night. It was decided to organise a meeting of supply authorities, inspectors, wiremen and contractors interested, to discuss the question with the object of making decisions uniform.

The following officers were elected: President, Mr. R. Darling (Eltham), vice-president, Mr. S. McCann (New Plymouth); secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. Patterson (Inglewood); executive committee, Messrs G. A. Corney (~ew Plymouth), G. R. Prentice (Eltham), W. Stephenson (Hawera), L. J. Sharrock (Opunake), H. Justin (Inglewood), R. P. Florence (New Plymouth), A. Lewis. (New Plymouth) ; auditors, Messrs. B. B. Hughes (Hawera), A. J. W. Hickey (Stratford); trustees, Messrs. A. Lewis (New Plymouth), W. H. Doggett (Opunake).
