King Edward Allows Plays On Queen Victoria.

King Edward has raised the ban on plays dealing with the life B of Queen Victoria from June 20, 1938, the centenary of her accession. Stage references to the parents or grandparents of the reigning Monarch have hitherto been forbidden under a ruling of the Lord Chamberlain.
