Dunedin, Last Night, i Satisfaction with the position of the Post Oiiicc Savings Bank was ex-| pressed by the Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones, in an interview today. the Minister stated that for the year ended October 31 the surplus of deposits over withdrawals amounted t<> ,C 2.120,000. As the sum of 1*1,106,000 was added to the bank’s account iast. March as interest on deposits then hold in the bank, it would be seen that the total at credit had increased during the year by £3,826,000.
