j Annual Inspection Of Stratford Branch. i • The annual re-examination and ini spection of the Stra'iford branch of J the St. John Ambulance Brigade was | I held last: night. Messrs. G. Buckley,. i J. L. O. Rowe, R. Fawcett were sue-I | cessful in the re-examination which , I was carried out by Dr. W. Brown. i Mr R. A. Wall, Wanganui corps, ! and Mr T. Davidson, superintendent j of the New Plymouth brigade, carried 1 out the inspection. Mr Wall congratulated the members on the good. | i work they' had done during the year, i and made particular reference 'to the | public services that, had been rendI ered by Messis Rowe and Buckley who had been in regular attendance i at football and hockey matches and | sports gatherings during the year. He was glad to see so many new members present and hoped 'they would take a keen interest in their t work. The Stratford branch was j particularly fortunate in the instruc- ; tion it had available and the recruits j should quickly be qualified to carry • bn the duties of the brigade. i j The following members have quail- j I fled for first year certificates: W. I I Bell, J. Bell, M. Bell, M. Belcher, W. I Verney, L,. Ford, Phyllis Crowe, Nesta Belcher.
