Anderson’s Century Against Old Collegians.
Anderson’s unbeaten century was the feature* of a drawn game between Old Collegians and his team, Stratford T.H.S. Old Collegians started the game with the solid score of 152, of which Mann made 58 before he was out l.b.w. He and Latham, who made 43, added 42 runs for the fourth wicke't. Glenday made 16 and Mahon 14. Ry'burn and Anderson did most of the bowling, the former taking three for 56 and the latter four for 36. The Stratford team started badly by losing a wicket In the first over before a run had been scored, as, incidentally, had Old Collegians. Two more wickets fell quickly and then Anderson and Richardson started on a partnership worth 111 runs. Anderson made 101 not out and Richardson 17 not out of a total of 139 for three wickets.
