BELGIUM.

King Leopold and the King of Holland —hitherto estranged by considerations arising from the animosities of war—have just met each other in the spirit of friendship and exchanged cordial greetings. The interview occurred at Liege on the 19th of October. The event was celebrated by festive demonstrations of a magnificent kind. There was a banquet at ihe palace ; and in the evening the whole city was illuminated. During a serenade given in front of the palace the two kings appeared together at one of the windows. The King of Holland left Leige on the following morning.
