TURKEY. It was lately stated that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Porte, in a manifesto to the" different European courts, dated the close of August, after mentioning a variety of charges against Montenegro, announced that Omar Pacha, the commander-in-chief of the Ottoman army, had received orders to commence hostilities against the Montenegrins. The Porte has since proposed to raise the blockade of Montenegro, on the condition that the pance and the senators would sign a pledge to respect in future the Ottoman territory; but this proposition has been formally rejected, and the blockade has been re-established in the most rigorous manner. The contest is now. expected to become a severe one. A despatch from Ragusa announces that the Turks had, at length, invaded the Montenegrin territory in force, attacking Lukovo, and putting some of the inhabitants to death. The prince of Montenegro had appealed to the international commissioners. Letters received here from Ragusa affirm that a secret treaty has been concluded between Servia and Montenegro.
