IVU 6 COMPANY, WAIMEA-EAST, -L 1 KIFLE VOLUNTEERS.—His Excellency the Governor having accepted my resignation as Captain commanding the above Company, a MEETING of the members will be held at the Richmond Schoolroom, on TUESDAY, the 3lst instant, at six o'clock in the evening to elect some person to fill the vacancy occasioned by my retirement; to balance the accounts, &c. BANKERS' SAFES.—We are now landing, irom the Walter Hood, several of Tann's Patent Reliance Safes, of extraordinary strength and security ; made ipo cially to our designs to suit the requirements of banking establishments. In addition to the usual arrangements these safes have treasure compartments under separate keys, while the main doors, steel lined, are secured with two of Tann'a patent cylinder locks, powder-proof and unpickable. The fire, resisting power of these safes has been established beyond all doubt, in the experimental t< j«t made in the Botanic Gardens, Sydney, under cognisance of the highest authorities.
