Bright—Flemming.—On the 18th April, Alfred Bright, to Mary Nesbett, eldest daughter of Mr George Stewart Flemming, Haven-road, Nelson. DEATHS. Veale.—April 9, at Taranaki, of diptheria, John, eldest son of Mr. Thomas Veule, aged 5 years. Jonas.—April 9, at Taranaki, Mr. Matthew Jonas, aged 64 years. Richmond.—April 10, at Taranaki, by drowning, Helen, daughter of H. E. Richmond, Esq., J.P., aged 18 months. Hawke.—April 10, at Taranaki, of diptheria, Francis, fourth daughter of Mr. Joseph Hawke, aged 15 years. Oliver.—April 11, at Taranaki, of diptheria, John, eldest son of Mr. Samuel Oliver, aged 13 years. McKellar.—April 12, at Taranaki, of fever, Gertrude Forbes, the youngest daughter of the late D. McKellar, formerly of Battersea, Surrey, aged'l3 yeai.s and 9 months.
