Commercial.
Colonist Office, Thursday Evening. During the past month business has not undergone any material change, having been steady but not brisk. The deficiencies in stock noticed in last commercial report, have been generally supplied by tbe arrival of the Bride from London, besides the ordinary imports from Australia. The supposed loss of the William Alfred has given an upward tendency to Company's Pieces and Colonial Soap.
The yield of gold continues steady, notwithstanding the heavy rains in the Golden Bay district.
