PUBLICAN'S LICENSES.
The annual granting of Licenses took place at the Court House, on April 17. The Magistrates present were, the Resident Magistrate, G. B. Wither, B. Walmsley, D. Rough, and W. Wells, Esquires.
The following licenses were granted :— Tows of Nelson.—E. Everett, Masonic Hotel; J. Luck, Trafalgar Hotel; J. Winterburn, Pier Hote,l ; ■I. Lewthwaite, Wakatu Hotel; ts. Adam, Rising Sun; 0. M-Gee, Marine Hotel; Q. Richardson Golden Fleece; J, Armstrong, Prince Alfred; H. Baly, Nelson Wine and Spirit Store; \V. Wright, Royal Hotel; G. Herwin, Prince Albert; H. Hudson, London Tavern; H. Jasper, Mitre Hotel; J Marsden, Steamboat Inn; D Fulton, Victoria Hotel; J. Jervis, Commercial Hotel; TV Horton, Bush Tavern; F. Stock, Albion Hotel; J. Porthouso, Miners' Arms.

Motueka.—G. Harding, Swan Inn; J Parker, Motueka Hotel.
New Licenses —The following new licenses were granted:—Frederick Freeman, Haven Road; Archibald Bdiiks, Bridge-street; Thomas Kite, Richmond.
