Away win for Taupo
Taupo's senior soccer side gained its first away win this season. It beat Ngongotaha 3-1 on Saturday in a Bay of Plenty league match. Taupo was never in danger of losing. It led 1-0 at half-time after a goal by Kerry Hurren. The side increased this
lead with further goals by S. Lochrie and R. Hindle. Ngongotaha scored its goal midway through the second half. The Taupo team was: R. Simpson, A. Forrest, T. Blay, A. 'Mansfield, S. Lochrie, P. Henry, K. Hurren, D. Bowles, R. Hindle, C. Gilfoyle, L. Babbington.
