The Minister of Education, Mr Amos, expects to see further expansion of technical education facilities at Tauponui-a-Tia College for adults wishing ' to continue their education in new technical fields. He gave this answer to a question from the member for Taupo, Mr J. W. Ridley, in the House last week. Mr Amos said issues relating to continuing education were prominent among those raised in Education Development Conference discussions, and he expected a more general examination of further developments to start % when reports arising from the conference were re- ^ ceived.
