Golfers enjoy stay in Hawaii
Hawaii is fully up to the expectations of the Taupo Golf Club touring party which is spending more than two weeks on the island. In a postcard to the Taupo Times the tour leader, club professional Jim Clelland, said it is the unanimous opinion that the place was under-rated. The party is staying 100 yards from the beach and everyone is making the most of the many attractions on offer. Mr Clelland is accompanied by his wife and other Taupo club members in the party are the secretary, Mr L. F. Holdsworth,
and his wife, Mr and Mrs Les Draper and Mr and Mrs Ernie Ellis.
