Banker promoted
Mr J. W. Shaw, a former Taupo branch manager of the Bank of New Zealand, has been \appointed assistant feneral manager at the head office in Wellington. He was previously district manager of the
bank's Auckland city district. Mr Shaw has held a number of managerial posts and was chief manager for planning and control before assuming the district post in Auckland.
