Trust office planned
Plans to open a fulltime Public Trust Office in Taupo were announced last week by the Member for Taupo, Mr J. W. Ridley. . He said the Minister in charge of the Public Trust Office, Mr W. A. Fraser, had advised him that negotiations were under way for office space in premises now under construction.

estates officer in Rotorua who visited Taupo each week to conduct a parttime office. The Taupo office would be under the control of the district public trustee, Rotorua, and initially would administer about 60 estates and hold wills for more than 2300 people.
