Fancy dress party

About 70 children, dressed in a varlety of ^ outfits and costumes, attended a recent fancy ^ dress party arranged by the Plunket Mothers' Oub. The children enjoyed games, then had a party tea. The monthly meetings of the club have proved popular. Members packed the Plunket clinic on a recent evening to see a delightful ^ winter showing of garments from Pointons Fashions. Mr Glynn Pointon spoke> to members on the advantages of co-ordinates; also fashion, fabrics and trends. A team from the Taupo Toastmistress club was present at the June meeting. The programme was extremely interesting and enlightening. Speeches by Leonie Morine and Helen Faville were well received and provoked lively and informative discussion.
