Heavy conditions after recent rain made the course play long with the use of irons only during ladies goif last Thursday when an all-irons and stableford event was held. There were, however,

some good cards in the intermediate and junior division. Results were: — Senior: Stableford — Mrs J. Clere 26. Irons nett — Mrs G. Dawson 82. Intermediate: Stableford — Mrs J. Thurston and Mrs S. Johnston 32. Irons nett — Mrs J. Thurston 75. Junior: Stableford — .Mrs P. Ellisdon 33, Mrs O. Hargreaves 32. Irons nett — Mrs P. Ellisdon 72. Handicap reduction: Mrs P. Ellisdon 31-30. Twos were scored by Mrs C. Wade and Mrs D. Barnes on the 6th. Mrs C. Holland 10th, Mrs J. Thurston 16th and Mrs J. Clere 17th.
