Darts trophy away to good start
Ihe Passmore Trophy competition, held between hotels and clubs, has got away with a good start this year. From now on, this competition will be. under the control of the Taupo Darts Association. The teams involved are De Bretts, Wairakei, Spa, Lake View, Reef, RSA and Cosmopolitan Club (current holders ot the trophy). Results of Monday night's play are: — Cosmo club 10, De Bretts 4; Spa 11, Reef 3; Lake View 11, RSA 3.
Wairakei had the bye. Scores of 100 or more: — Cosmopolitan Club: W. ^JBailey 120, 100; F. Govenor 100; B. Sowerby 100. De Bretts: M. Williams 100. Spa: J. Rerekura 139, 121, 100; P. Smith 100 (2), K. Beets 125; E. Barnett 125; K. Barnett 125. Reef: S. Benfell 100; A.' Simpson 100; N. Nepia 100. Lake View: H. Mann 140, 106, 100; A. Compton 140, 100; N. Jones 100. RSA: P.
